Manages inventory shortages using balanced allocation logic. Establishes order parameters like minimum order quantity, lead time for each product in each location and generates orders based on minimum and maximum covers. Reduces or build inventory & customer service levels with time phased safety stock and sends color coded alerts for service violation such as stock out. Supports distribution planning as well.

Plavisage production planning involves automatic work order generation & procurement based on real time material and capacity constraints, minimizes costs by reducing inventory & WIP, effective resource utilization, adherence to customer delivery dates. It considers both material and capacity constraints while generating production plan, maintains safety stock, reduces downtime by aligning material flow. It uses What -if analysis capability for planning. It has infinite capacity & incremental planning capabilities. Consolidates all orders and can freeze a plan for specific period. Uses Gantt charts and other graphical representations for factory shop floor and movement of orders. Warns on how work orders and sales orders are affected.

Planvisage Shop floor scheduler ensures optimal resource usage by production downtime reduction, improves capacity utilization, increases throughput by production lead time reduction. Gantt chart function allows graphical display of scheduled orders. Scheduled orders can be manually moved by drag & drop functionality. It has ability to lock a schedule. Different scheduling strategies are used and schedules can be made on resource to resource or order to order basis. Upstream and downstream operation linking possible and takes into consideration various resource constraints while planning.
