Planamind Intelligence Hub

The AI layer for your planning. Evidence-based monthly reviews, macro and weather signals that must beat your statistical forecast before they are suggested, market and competitor intelligence, and Ana, who answers from your own data. It works alongside Planamind or on top of the planning system you already have.

Why planning needs intelligence

Your plan knows your history. It doesn't know the world.

Most planning systems forecast from past sales alone, and the story behind the numbers is still written by hand.

01

Blind to the outside world

Weather, the economy, market growth and competitor moves shape demand, but rarely reach the forecast.

02

Reviews take days

Analysts spend the start of every month assembling commentary instead of acting on it.

03

AI that doesn't know your plan

Generic chat assistants sound confident but can't show where their answers come from.

What's inside

Five kinds of intelligence, one hub.

Each capability reads your planning data and the outside world together, and every AI answer is grounded in evidence you can check.

01 · Monthly Review

The month explained, before the meeting starts

Last month's performance, pricing, a walkthrough of next month's forecast and the full-year view, with an AI-written review on top: an executive summary, then what moved inside the business (demand, anomalies, events and mix, stock) and outside it (weather, the economy, the market and competitors).

AI · Evidence firstAna cites the evidence for every point or leaves it out. The review ends with where to intervene by SKU and location, and the opportunities and risks to year end, and downloads as a branded PDF.

02 · Macro & weather signals

Signals that earn their place in the forecast

Planamind correlates your demand with macroeconomic, weather and cost indicators, finding the lag at which each one matters. A signal is only recommended if, on months held back for testing, it beat the best statistical forecast. Planners apply it as a clearly labelled adjustment, and the real accuracy gain is measured once actuals arrive.

Backtested, not guessedA recommendation appears only when the indicator adds information a good statistical forecast couldn't find on its own.

03 · Market trends

Are you growing faster than your market?

For each category, compare your growth with the market's, see whether you are outpacing, keeping pace or lagging, and track market size and search interest. Changes in search interest are tested on held-out months before they can be applied to the baseline.

AI · Market commentaryAna summarises which categories are ahead of or behind the market, and names the biggest opportunity and the biggest risk.

04 · News & competitors

Industry and competitor news, turned into actions

Follow industry news and the competitors you choose to track, with one-line summaries. News is classified by theme, such as market growth, competitors, regulation, pricing and tenders, so the relevant stories reach planners.

AI · Planning impactAna turns relevant news into recommended planning actions in the Needs Review list, next to accuracy recommendations and projected stockouts.

05 · Ask Ana

An assistant that shows its working

Ask Ana in plain English about demand, accuracy, supply, freight, external signals, promotions, market position or finance. She answers from your live data and from the working the planning engine recorded, not from guesswork, and you can share a screenshot to ask about what you are looking at.

Secure by designAna only shows each user the products and locations they are allowed to see, and AI usage is capped per company so spend stays predictable.

External data

Best-in-class public sources, independently verifiable.

Planamind brings in public data matched to your countries and industry, and layers its own correlation engine and Ana's analysis on top. Every upstream figure can be checked at the source.

Economy

World Bank · OECD

Macro series by industry and the OECD Composite Leading Indicator for 38 countries.

Weather

Open-Meteo

Historical weather for each location, plus seasonal outlooks around nine months ahead.

Energy & cost

US EIA

Oil prices and the short-term energy outlook, around two years ahead.

Markets

Trade, census & tenders

UN Comtrade, US Census indicators, government tenders, search and page-view interest, and industry news.

Works with what you have

Add intelligence without replacing your planning system.

The Intelligence Hub runs on its own or as part of the full Planamind platform.

On top of your current system

Bring your own forecast

Upload forecast snapshots from the tool you already use, such as SAP IBP, together with your sales history and product, location and customer masters. Dated snapshots let Planamind track forecast accuracy over time, and stock data can be added for inventory visibility.

With Planamind planning

One connected workspace

Combine the Intelligence Hub with Planamind's demand, supply, materials, freight and finance modules, so signals, reviews and Ana work directly on the plan your team runs every day.

Intelligence in action

The outside world, translated into planning decisions.

Backtested signal

Construction spending leads demand by three months

The indicator beat the statistical forecast on held-out months for a building-products category. The planner applies it as a labelled adjustment and the gain is tracked against actuals.

Monthly Review

Unplanned event before year end

The review flags a calendar event that isn't in the plan yet, with its expected lift and value, so the team can decide whether to act.
