Materials planned from what you will actually make
Planamind explodes planned orders, not just the forecast, through the BOM at each location, and adds spare-part demand for components on top. Components then get the same treatment as finished goods: stock in transit, lead times, safety stock, expiry, minimum order quantities and rounding.
Suggested orders, labelled by type
Every suggested order is labelled as purchase, production, semi-finished or distribution, with lead times set for each item and location. Planners can override or cancel an order with a note, and a multi-tier cascade report shows how requirements flow from finished goods to raw materials.
