Planamind and the mid-market planning tools

Eight demand and inventory planning tools mid-sized companies shortlist, in one matrix. Planamind's column is what is live in the product today. Every other column is built only from what that vendor documents publicly.

How to read this table

This is not a scorecard, and it is not a ranking. We have not audited these products. For each vendor we marked a capability Full only where the vendor documents it publicly on their own website, as of October 2026, restated in general terms. Everything else is N/A, which means we have not assessed it — not that the capability is missing. A vendor with fewer marks is not a weaker product; it usually means we have read less of it. Vendors are listed alphabetically. Check anything that matters to your decision with the vendor directly.

Questions

About this comparison

How did you decide what each vendor can do?

We read each vendor's own public website in October 2026 and marked a capability only where the vendor documents it themselves. We did not run their software, and we did not rate them on anything they do not publish. Everything else is marked N/A, meaning not assessed.

Does N/A mean the vendor can't do it?

No. N/A means we have not assessed it. Several of these products almost certainly do more than this table shows, because we only counted what we could read on their own site. Treat the N/A cells as questions to ask the vendor, not as gaps.

Why isn't this a score out of ten?

Because counting marks across a row would be misleading. The vendors here are built for different jobs, and we have assessed different amounts of each one. The table is a starting point for your shortlist, not a ranking.

Which of these is the real alternative to Planamind?

It depends on what you need. If your problem is replenishment against an ERP, a focused inventory tool may be enough. If you need demand, supply and a gross-profit plan in one model with an AI assistant built in, that is what Planamind is for. Each vendor above has a note saying where it is a strong choice.

What doesn't Planamind do today?

Planamind does not model finite production capacity or schedule production, and it has no direct ERP connectors: data comes in through Excel-shaped uploads and a read-only SharePoint sync. Dedicated launch planning is in development.

Is Planamind secure enough for an enterprise?

Planamind is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified and has a SOC 2 Type II report, available under NDA — ask us for a copy. An independent penetration test in July 2026 found no critical or high-severity issues. See how Planamind is secured.

Capability information for other vendors is taken from their own public websites as of October 2026 and is restated in general terms; it may be out of date or incomplete, and it is not a statement about what those products cannot do. Planamind ratings reflect the product as it stands today. All third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. This comparison is prepared by Anamind and is not endorsed by any vendor named. Please verify anything that matters with the vendor before you decide.
